Accumulate a collection of notes, magazine pictures and anything else that you think will help convey your needs and desires to our design team. Current digital photos as well as some quick dimensions of the space considered for remodel will be a great help at the initial consultation.

Step 2 Free Consultation

Contact our office to schedule your free consultation in our showroom. Upon your arrival, we will give you a tour of our showroom to view the various product lines and displays. We will review your "collection of thoughts" and discuss your ideas for the space that you want to remodel. We will show you digital photos of our past projects that were similar. This information along with your photos will help us get a feel for your overall project scope. We will help establish an appropriate budget for your project. We specialize in kitchen and bath design- build remodeling therefore, our estimates are realistic based on the information gathered at the consultation and our experience with past projects.

Step 3 Designing your Space

In order to produce a detailed proposal we must design the space. This includes cabinetry, countertops, electrical, plumbing and framing considerations. All products that are used in the project must also be specified and their respective quantities noted. A detailed scope of work must be written to coincide with the design concept. In order to complete this step, our designers will visit your home to measure the space, take our own photos, and get more familiar with your families unique lifestyle and surroundings. We may require a design retainer at this time based on the size and complexity of the project. The retainer is a good faith agreement that we will put the effort forth to work together on this project. The retainer amount is later applied to the project costs.

Step 4 Presentation

After we visit your home, we will schedule a presentation in our showroom, typically within two to three weeks. At this presentation, there will be design drawings of your project, and specifically selected products that coordinate with the overall design. In conjunction, there will be a written scope of work that describes in detail the work to be performed along with preliminary cost figures. From there, we will modify the design, product selections and scope of work in order to achieve both the desired look and budget for your project. This refining usually takes one to four meetings after our initial presentation depending on the scope of the project. Establishing a clear and concise design plan is crucial to keeping a project on time and on budget with very little change orders and surprises down the road.

Step 5 Contract Signing

After the design, product selections and scope of work have been determined, a final contract document will be prepared clearly outlining the details of the project. At this time, a deposit is collected, all products are scheduled for ordering, and your project is assigned a projected start date for construction.

Step 6 Pre-Construction meeting

Within a few weeks prior to the start of your project, our project superintendant and designer will meet with you at your home for a preconstruction meeting. At this time, job site details are discussed such as: product delivery and storage, home access, jobsite protection and daily construction path along with scheduling questions and any other special needs related to your project. The project superintendant is now turned over the project and is in charge of completing the project. All contact information for the project superintendant will be presented at the preconstruction meeting.

Step 7 Work Begins

This is the construction phase of the project. The length of this phase can vary from a few days to a few months depending on the size of the project. Throughout this phase you will become very well acquainted with the in-house craftsman. You will see your project manager and designer stop by at frequent intervals to assure all the details are carried out as planned. The project manager and designer collaborate weekly to review your project and insure that the details are being executed properly.

Step 8 Project Completion

The final step in the process is for our designer and project manager to perform a final job site review to verify that everything as turned out as planned and that you are completely satisfied with the outcome of your remodel. With you permission, we will take photos of your completed project to help inspire other homeowners that are just embarking down the remodeling path.
